Comments Policy
I’m taking a proactive stance against comment spam. I moderate every first-time commenter, which means that if you’re new to the site, your comments won’t appear immediately. Also, if you don’t enter a username/password, your comment will not appear right away. Once I approve your comment, you will no longer be restricted in that way; however, if you abuse this privilege your comments will be deleted and you’ll be blacklisted.
You are expected to behave yourself while commenting. I’m holding commenters to the same standard that I do to posters on the forum. No racial, no sexual, no derogatory, and no trolling: in short, don’t be an asswipe.
If I moderate or decline your comment, you can ask me about it via e-mail. Comments are public only if they appear on the main page. If they never make it there or are removed, they’re considered private and thus you should not make a public case about it. Should you choose to, you won’t be making any public comments on my blog anymore.
If you want to plug your site, ask me first in e-mail or PM on the forum. I’ll check it out and then we’ll go from there. Unsolicited or unwarranted plugs are not tolerated, and yes, I will be paying attention.
Finally, I don’t want to be the Comment Tyrant in addition to the Forum Tyrant. Just use your head and everything will be cool.
