GAME CLEARED: flOw (PS3)
At 8:48p, I met the win conditions for flOw on the Playstation 3. This is the twenty-fourth game cleared in 2008. The next game that is queued for completion is Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 (DS), followed by Band of Bugs (360) and Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 (DS). Final clear time unavailable.

A question regarding Final Fantasy Tactics A2: what counts as a win condition for you? Completion of all twenty main storyline battles? Because, like with the original FFTA, there’s a significant number of quests that only open up after the completion of the story.

Yeah, FFTA2 would be considered “done” once I finished the main story. I’d probably go back and do some of the extra missions, but in all cases if I see the credits (without explicitly selecting, say, “Game Credits” from the option menu) then I consider the game “completed”.
Which, coincidentally, is the only reason I consider flOw done– I reached the final depth, played through the credits sequence, and that was that. Little to no skill was involved– just dash for the ‘next depth’ food.

I was going to say… I played fl0w and saw it played for hours, and I had been pretty sure it didn’t really end as such.
I think that’s the kind of game where you shouldn’t really worry about “clearing” it. You’re just supposed to lose yourself in it sometimes rather than do it to a completion and move on. I mean,I should talk, completist that I am… but yeah.
