Hey, just a quick note that the Otakon 2008 Report is complete and on the site. You RSS folks can read it over here.
….holy crap, the report is up on time!! That’s a miracle in and of itself!

Nice report. Just one thing… when we went to talk to the hotel folks about the Wii/360 situation, it was Matthew, you, Sean, and me - not Lance - who went.

Nice report, though one complaint - I have never cared for the abbreviated form of my first name, so if you prefer to use my real name over my screen name, please please PLEASE don’t use the shortened version. That’s not a name, it’s something you throw down in front of the bathtub to keep from slipping on the linoleum when you have wet feet. :P
Anyway, convention reports are always fun to read, and this one was no exception. I doff my cap, sir.

Fixed both issues. And yes, I am slipping– of course a lack of sleep and other things has contributed to the lapse, so take that as you will.

I didn’t mean to sound like we were piling on. I noticed the “Matt” thing and remembered Kain disliked that, but I didn’t know if he would care. :)
… I should really write my convention report. I’ve just tried and failed to continue past discussing coming in on Thursday in the past, though.

Yes, sorry to seem picky - the convention report is very entertaining to read otherwise, and brings back many memories. Not all of them are good memories (I’m swearing off booking the hotels forevermore, even if I can make it to next year’s convention), but there are many more good than bad. And ‘ee, it were grand seeing everyone again. :)

An entertaining read, sounds like you had a lot of fun regardless of the few bits missed. Some good purchases too - I’m quite certain you’ll enjoy Slayers. Those videos you linked are entrancing by the way…

I’d certainly post any convention reports contributed from the group. And sorry if it sounded a little snarky– I honestly didn’t remember, as it was late both when I experienced it and when I wrote it. :)

Oh, and I’d write my own report too, but it seems my “convention reports” are generally more “Watch Me Bitch About Psi Reports” than anything else, so I don’t bother. Once I learn how to write one without being all foamy and ranty, I’ll start writing convention reports too…
