The Otakon Hiatus
Not like I’ve been terribly adroit in updating this here blog as much as I should now that I’m off the schedule, but you should probably know that I’m off to Otakon this weekend and will be back Sunday night. I have no real idea when I’ll manage to get the con report up; some weirdness in life is happening after I get back, and I’m not entirely sure I’ll be able to get it done before the week is out. Though I do have to admit that doing the report up that week would put me back into a wordy mindset and prime me for the noveling to be done the remainder of the month. We shall see.
In the meantime, I have made some comments about this week’s Xbox Live Arcade title, Braid, at Ye Olde LJ. I encourage you to head over there and read them, particularly if you think my opinion about the video game industry is completely given over to fanboyish rejection of reality, and that all I ever espouse are words of glowing praise, punctuated by rainbow-flavored sunshine lollipops and underscored by massive veins of rich buttercreme frosting.
