Out On The Streets
Just some quick notes before I hit the road (in my killin’ machine, she’s got everything). First, I have hit the 70,000 word mark for Harvesting Blueberries and brought one of the main character’s subplots to a pretty good climax. In any event, there’s still a LOT of plot left to cover– things are picking up again as we reach towards the end of the second act. If I’m lucky/dedicated enough, I might hit 80K by the end of the month.
I did try my hand at the singing in Rock Band last night. In one of the stranger twists, I was no good at “Juke Box Hero” but positively rocked “Creep”. Maybe that’s not such a twist, after all.
And I’m seriously tempted to pick up FF12: Revenant Wings soon, but I want to know more about the game first. Oh, and clear away more of the now-insurmountable Backlog of Not-Quite-As-Much-Doom-Compared-To-Rick’s-But-Still-Pretty-Damn-Big-
Hell-Let’s-Just-Call-It-The-Backlog-Of-Mild-Unease.
