In no particular order, then:

Kat, Clif bars are small granola-ish snacks that were designed for high-intensity activities like rock climbing or other “outdoorsy” pursuits. They’re somewhat expensive (a buck each, roughly) but quite good. You can probably find them at the grocery store with the rest of the energy bars. I was pretty sure I’d offered you or Andrew one at Otakon, though (I know Rick was ecstatic to hear I had them).

Rick, the chocolate chip ones are also high on my list, though the brownie ones are good every once in a while, even if they’re a little too heavy… but, while I still have a couple of flavors to try out, nothing shall unseat carrot cake. NOTHING.

RISC: First, welcome to the site, and I’m glad to see that you seem to have found (almost) what you’re looking for. I no longer have a copy of the Tale, as it were, but as has been said, its author is a regular contributor to both these comments and the forums. Yes, if you’re looking for TTOKAH, go to the forums and look for the user “KAHighwind”… that’s the original author himself.

And I’m sure he can provide you a copy of the text… :).

heh.. seems like i’ll have to try one by myself, even if i’m not that much into organic stuff.
by the way, I came to your site through google, looking for the complete fanfic TTOKAH (The Tale of Kain Aron Highwind); haven’t been able to find it… but one of your posts in the old blog said that you had it… if you still have it, would you be so king of sending it via e-mail, or leaving it somewhere … or to tell a way to contact the original author to get the full text. I really want to read it.

I still prefer the chocolate chip (which tastes like a granola bar with extra molasses… and I like molasses). But the carrot cake is rather tasty.
