Also the alternative also might be to do two blogs, not necessarily updated daily.  I keep my personal and gaming/geek stuff separated this way, though my personal blog is about as geeky at time as my gaming blog.

I'd say keep it limited though.  I have developed a bad habit of making new spin off blogs only to kill them a month later.</description>
