(I don’t expect anyone else to understand this or even care about it, but I’m posting it to make it both public and official. Which means that people can also nag me about it if I don’t go through with it. Anyway…)
As of August 31st, 2007, the Game and Anime Reclamation List Project is suspended indefinitely. No further reclamation of previously lost items will be permitted until the sooner of (a private goal is met) or January 1, 2008. This suspension may be extended at January 1 as well if circumstances require it.
A special moratorium on all new media purchases has been declared until the Reclamation List Project is resumed. No new purchases of anime, games, movies, or CDs (including iTunes purchases) may be made until the Game and Anime Reclamation List Project is resumed and advanced to a completion rate of no less than 40% (10 items reclaimed after resumption).
Gifts and awards are exempted from the restriction, but do not lessen the burden of reclamation (ie regardless of ‘accidental’ progress made on the Reclamation List during the suspension, I must still reclaim 10 items after the sanction is lifted in order to begin purchasing new items).
This decision is final.
