Psyche Killer
You know that you’re playing way too many video games when you dream about them– and your dream incorporates games you haven’t even played in weeks, months, or years. All I’ll say is that the mashup between Halo 2, Heroes of Mana, Dynasty Warriors, and The Little Mermaid (!) really, really freaked me out.
The video-game-themed portion of the dream was mostly over before I went ‘under the sea’. Just in case anyone got any weird ideas about why I would aim a shotgun at Ariel.
EDIT: Apparently, I have a bit more luck or strategic thinking than I previously thought. My speedrun through LeafGreen is almost complete; I hit the Indigo Plateau earlier this morning. My levels, however, are atrocious; only three are in the 40s, and the low 40s at that. The remainder of today is likely to be spent grinding, now that I’ve spent an hour poring over the manuals and plotting out the best movesets for my final team. Four of those critters are in serious need of leveling, as they’re currently in the low to mid 20s, and all need to get to 60 before I even consider tackling the E4. My plan right now is to just take the two higher ones up to their finals of 65/66 today, then taking the other four up as needed by using the Vs. Seeker as appropriate (I know right now that my Pikachu is going to be spending quite a bit of time in the water… might not be terribly lucrative for cash but every little bit helps, right?). Barring anything taking up all of my spare time this week, I should have this behind me by next weekend, whereupon I promise I’ll put away the Pokemon games for a little while. Really. After all, Luminous Arc is calling me…
