Furry Smash!
There’s a lot of information being released of late regarding the highly-anticipated Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. The biggest information thus far is the list of musicians involved, which include two of my favorites– Michiko Naruke and Noriyuki Iwadare. Overall that’s not terribly interesting news, except that by and large those two composers’ music doesn’t really sound like “game music”; they both have pretty unique styles among the rest of the people in that very esteemed group.
Also of interest, actually, is the fact that Geometry Wars is coming to the Wii and the DS. Bizarre Creations won’t have much to do with it (it’s being handled by the same house that did Battalion Wars for the GC) but there look to be some good added features such as a ’single-player campaign’ (supposedly more of one than “collect all the achievements”) and multiplayer. I’d be a lot more interested if Geom Wars hadn’t been literally my first purchase once I got my 360; but I do recommend it for anyone who does not have that machine.
More of an update tomorrow on the ongoing automoblowout.

Wait…
Are they seriously bragging about a guy that worked on Cho Aniki?
Also, kind of strange that they aren’t mentioning Nobuo Uematsu on there - he worked on the game’s main theme (unless they’re switching which theme to use).

I was wondering at how there was no mention of Nobuo either, and speculated the same thing (or possibly just not mentioning what’s already been made apparent before).
