Mr. Adcock,

Have you seen the music video "Jinnai and the Bugrom"? If not, I highly recommend it.

El-Hazard was my "gateway anime," and it also got me started on writing fan-fiction. Hope you enjoyed it.

The second OVA directly continues the first OVA story-line. It's a step down in quality, and rushed at only four episodes, but it's still pretty good.

The first TV series is an alternate-universe story, with a teen-aged Ifurita and Rune Venus. It has its filler episodes, but overall, it's as enjoyable as the first OVA for me.

The second TV series (Alternative World) picks up the first OVA story-line again. It's for fans only. It has some lovely character-driven moments, but the overall story is crap, and its critical failure put an end to the franchise.

Heh. My anime club is watching Ouran right now.

Along with Jyuuohsei and Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora.

Try to say the last anime I just mentioned three times fast.

When I first saw a couple episodes of Ouran at Otakon last year, I thought it was done by the same artist as Fruits Basket. Ouran is an unbelievably fun watch, though. Andrew, Barbie, and I all very much enjoyed watching it when we got home. Some of the parallels to Fruits Basket are there, but I'm not thinking of too many off the top of my head.
