Oh yeah, Sony. We’re all ready to “Play Beyond”– beyond the brink of madness.
In the interests of fair and balanced games journalism (read: SHUT UP, SONY FANBOYS), the Wii.Play launch party kinda fell flat. But let me put it this way– nobody did anything worthy of arrest there.

The Wii thing made me sad. I hope the (disturbingly named) Wii Sports isn’t too bad because at the moment it looks like I may not be able to afford an actual additional game with my current dodgy budgeting. :-(

As I see it the violence is the store-owners faults. Plenty of stores got through it fine cause they managed things properly. Oh yeah, I also blame the violent insane people and the robbers…

Tried submitting the launch party thing to /. but wasn’t accepted. I don’t know whether this was because of Zonk’s notorious anti-Sony bias or because it was a forum post. Probably both, since Zonk hasn’t had too much of a problem with posting forum posts and crappy blog entries before when they supported his message.
